They say that dogs are man’s best friend…but what what about man’s dinner date? Well, thanks to Pet Pavilion teaming up with Bluebird restaurant, they’re that now too. Pedigree dog parlour Pet Pavilion is joining Bluebird to offer a real ‘Michelin-star’ three-course canine brunch from 27 April to 1 May. Sound ridiculous? Well, this may not come as a surprise…it’s in Chelsea. And we all know how much they love their pooches over there…
Bites and Bones brunch will be running from 12pm, serving doggy dishes that have been designed to nourish your pet while satisfying his/her clearly sophisticated palate. Starting with a dish of venison sausage and beefy brown rice served with a beef broth, the main consists of chicken and lamb ‘barkenberg’ loaf, followed by a sweet potato and peanut butter macaroon with a doggy gelato filling. There is even’Pooch Hooch’ doggy beer! These canines eat better than we do…bitches.
There will also be lots of fun activities like doggy disco and workshops that will get tails wagging everywhere, as well as a parlour selling a range of treats called The Dog House, designed by none other than Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux. Naturally.
