Making A Murderer

The smash-hit true crime story is back – and sooner than you’d think.

Netflix really is the gift that keeps on giving. With the days getting shorter and blustery October nights lurking just around the corner, they’re stepping up the amount of binge-worthy series to keep you warm and toasty. And by any standard, this next arrival is a doozy. Making A Murderer, the gripping tale of murder most foul, was a massive hit when it dropped in 2015 – and now, Part 2 heads to Netflix UK on Friday October 19th.

Viewers have practically been begging to find out what happened next, and soon, they’ll get their chance. Whilst the first season charted the trial and convictions of Stephen Avery and Brendan Dassey, Part 2 will focus on what happened post-conviction, including the toll the trial took on the accused and their families. Moreover, you’ll witness the various appeals mounted to overturn the duo’s convictions, which pulls a new set of lawyers into the fight.

Crime doesn’t pay, but it does make for pretty compelling viewing, so we’re pretty confident that Making A Murderer Part 2 will be a worthy follow-up. You only need wait a mere 23 days to see it – although if that feels like too long, check out what’s already pitched up on Netflix this month.
