Indulge Your Sweet Tooth At London’s First Vegan Bakery
Ms Cupcake doesn’t just make the best vegan cakes in town. They might possibly make the best cakes in town, period.
Of all the brilliant reasons to visit Brixton, this might be the most delicious. Ms Cupcake is London’s first all-vegan bakery, which means their cupcakes basically count as a vegetable. That’s how veganism works, right?
Let’s face it, 80% of this article is going to be purely food porn. Ms Cupcake’s star attraction is The Ambassador cupcake, which is a Ferrero Rocher in cake form.
Their red velvet cupcakes are a crowdpleasing lot, too.
Ms Cupcake are rightfully known for cupcakes, but they are equally accomplished at other baked goods. Witness the Cookie Dough Brownie (a.k.a the Brookie), for instance.
Maybe you fancy a cookie sandwich instead? No bother, Ms Cupcake can whip up those too.
Continuing our visual feast is Ms Cupcake’s Nanaimo bar. This dessert, along with Trivial Pursuit and Alanis Morrissette, is the best thing Canada has given the world, and Ms Cupcake’s versions are pure magic. Pictured is the peanut butter version, but they also produce raspberry, mint, and salted caramel bars.
Knowing how much people were enjoying the cakes, Ms Cupcake hit upon a frankly genius idea: turn their cupcakes into milkshakes. Although with no animal products involved, these are actually mylkshakes.
Ms Cupcake can offer gluten-free options for many of their sweet treats. You can also pick up vegan supplies and their own cookbook if you fancied trying to make some of their creations at home. That just leaves more in store for the rest of us…
