A Mental Health-Focused Café Has Come To Good Old M&S
Have the stresses of modern life left you feeling a little… frazzled? Well M&S has come up with the perfect way to de-stress.
And no, surprisingly, it’s not retail therapy.
The idea is, voluntary ‘facilitators’ are stationed in the café to act as, well, facilitators to help us to open up about the stresses in our lives and talk more openly about mental health problems without being judged.
We all know sometimes you need to offload all your stress with a good old wine-fuelled rant to your mates over dinner, but this sounds like the perfect alternative when you just need to speak to someone with a completely new perspective.
The new Frazzled Cafés are being rolled out at Marks & Spencers across the country, with two existing cafés in London – with one in the Victoria store and one in Marble Arch – and two more to come in Westfield Stratford and Canary Wharf. You can find out more information and sign up for a free session on their website.
