The Mandrake hotel has transformed into a magical, floral paradise.
Boasting 162 flower garlands, each eight metres long, The Mandrake’s public spaces are filled with botanicals and beautiful, natural scents. The stunning art piece comes from Notting Hill-based designer ‘June in March’, who is known for her large architectural installations at various events.
The Mandrake is already known for its dedication to flora and fauna, with its inner courtyard flaunting two 150 year old Tasmanian Fern trees and drapes of jasmine and passion flower. But, in honour of the Chelsea Flower Show, this installation has taken the obsession one step further.
Here’s a sneaky peek:
To compliment the stunning flower garlands, the hotel’s bar, Waeska, has also launched a plant-inspired cocktail menu, featuring weird but wonderful ingredients such as mandrake, pine and hemp.
You’ll find The Mandrake at 20-21 Newman Street, Fitzrovia, W1T 1PG.
