They’re the indisputable symbol of London and our red double decker buses are on their way to Mexico.
The buses are set to cross the pond in a £44 million deal made by bus manufacturer Alexander Dennis. It’s believed the double deckers will reduce pollution and congestion on the Mexican version of The Mall, Paseo de la Reforma.
The chief executive of Alexander Dennis, Colin Robertson has said: “It is hugely exciting to know that ADL’s signature red double-decker buses will soon be transporting Mexico City’s residents in style and comfort”.
