London’s Got An Entire Museum Dedicated To Chocolate

share on:

Just when you thought the capital couldn’t get any sweeter, we find out that there’s a chocolate museum in Brixton.

The Chocolate Museum in Brixton is nestled away like an expertly hidden treasure chest of sweet treats .

You can venture round and learn about the process of converting the modest cocoa bean into the chocolates we know and love. Learn about the world and British history that surrounds our beloved chocolate and view a small gallery of French advertisements that’ll give you an insight into early 1900 advertisement.

As well as being home to some interesting exhibitions, this museum puts on tonnes from drop-in chocolate and truffle making to workshops for kids and adults, tastings, talks, and other chocolatey workshops: it’s well worth checking on their events page to see what’s coming up.

You can find The Chocolate Museum at 187 Ferndale Road, Brixton, near Brixton station, SW9 8BA.
