A new art exhibition is coming to London, featuring works from David Shrigley, Harland Miller, The Connor Brothers and Banksy.
The upcoming exhibition, TYPE, is a collection of rare and never before seen works from British artists, all with two common themes: witty text and classic British humour.
TYPE, which will take over Hang-Up Gallery in Stoke Newington, “portrays the incredibly persuasive power of language and British humour in the current art world”. All four artists–Banksy, Miller, Shrigley and the Connor Brothers–show exactly how wit and deadpan humour can be used to make a statement, or to shift the viewer’s perspective on the world.
TYPE will be at Hang-Up Gallery from 16th March to 6th May. You’ll find it the gallery at 81 Stoke Newington Road, N16 8AD. Find out more on their website.
