For those of you who regularly commute on the Northern Line to Clapham, you’ll probably be very fond of the Thought of the Day whiteboard that sits within Clapham North Station. With each new day, the board brings a new inspiring quote to warm the hearts of passing Londoners. For many, it’s the only thing fuelling their journey on the dreaded Northern Line. Last week, however, TfL suddenly decided to take down the whiteboard… much to everyone’s disapproval.
@TfL highlight of my morning is seeing the whiteboard at Clapham North. Makes the morning easier. Where has it gone?? #bringitback

Neighbouring station, Oval, showed their support:

And people got creative without the board in place:
@TfL OTOH This white tile mosaic looks an inspired replacement for Clapham North #thoughtofthedayboard. I’ll take it pic.twitter.com/AOl8mhtowF

Thankfully, the voice of the people has been heard! This is TfL’s response to one young protester.
Power to the people! We should expect the Clapham North Thought of the Day whiteboard to return this week. Feel free to keep us updated via our Twitter: @Secret_LDN
