Hold on to your hats – a proverbial ‘weather bomb’ is going off over London tomorrow.
Storm Brian, as it’s amusingly named, will be tearing across the UK throughout Saturday (Oct 21), with the Met Office issuing a yellow weather warning for London and elsewhere.
The storm is set to deliver some strong winds throughout the city, predicted to spike dramatically between 2pm and 5pm.
Gusts of over 40mph are expected, and the weather warning is an indication that some transport disruption should be expected as Brian knocks some branches onto railway lines, etc.
Anyway, a good day for kite-flyers, a bit of a pain for everyone else. Thanks, Brian!
