A houseboat in London has come on the market, but much like all the other property in the city, it doesn’t come cheap.
[Riverhomes]Monarch, which is the name of the ship in question, is almost 100ft long and is moored in Prospect Quay, Wandsworth. It’s luxurious rooms, which include an open-plan living area and kitchen, look like that of a regular house. In fact, a regular property with the same amount of square footage in London would apparently cost three times as much.
[Riverhomes]Maybe houseboats are the way forward? Along with three double bedrooms, lots of space and beautiful views, the owner of this floating property would also gain access to the swimming pool and gym within the nearby residential development.
[Riverhomes]It’s not, however, the most expensive houseboat on the market in London at the moment. This floating home in Chelsea (pictured below) is on the market for £1.7 million. And it has one less bedroom!
