Don’t excited too early Londoners. We’ve got a while to wait for the Queen’s official birthday. But on the 10th and 11th of June pub opening hours will be extended to honour Queen Liz’s big 9-0, as confirmed by David Cameron last week. Boozers will be able to stay open for 2 hours later than usual – so the closing time will be 01:00am.
PM: Subject to the usual conditions – we will extend pub opening hours on 10 and 11 June to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday. #PMQs

So will Her Majesty be joining us for a pint? In short, no. On Friday 10th June the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will by at St. Paul’s Cathedral for dinner. On Saturday 11th June, the Queen is throwing a massive Royal bash, in the form of a Horse Guards Parade. (Kind of beats a birthday booking at Bunga Bunga). Finally, on Sunday 12th June, there will be a Patron’s Lunch held in celebration of Lizzie’s links to 600 organisations in the UK and across the Commonwealth.
So, do as your Queen tells you and drink up London! There will be plenty of opportunity to party over the weekend, at either the Parade or the street party held in The Mall.
