Whether you’re an art lover or not, prepare to be amazed, bedazzled, and utterly confused at how anyone could ever paint like this.
Yigal Ozeri is an artistic genius because, with thousands of strokes of his tiny brush, he creates some of the most stunning paintings we’ve ever seen. That’s right, these are paintings… with an actual brush. Nope, not a fancy editing software on a computer or a picture he took with his camera…
Ozeri’s hyperrealistic paintings are on display at the prestigious Opera Gallery in his first solo art exhibition in London. The pictures are all about blurring the lines between fantasy and reality and we have to say, we’re definitely not sure what’s real anymore. His focus is on expressing classical feminine beauty in their natural and urban surroundings and he’s pretty much nailed it.
These paintings are all about making the audience see that paintings are just as striking as a good photograph. It’s clear to see that Ozeri has spent a lot of time and effort in making sure these paintings capture the perfect lighting and rosy tones we all love to see on our Instagram feeds. Well now, see some real life masterpieces as this exhibition runs on a limited time from the 12th – 25th May.
