Cider lovers, rejoice.
Kopparberg is undoubtedly the drink of long, hot, summery days at the pub. But relaxing on a makeshift beach or in your local park is a thing of the past, because this year we’ll be sipping away at the top of a mountain.
Yep – complete with real snow, a Kopparberg themed mountain (aptly called the KopparMountain) is coming to London in August. Arising in front of the iconic London Docklands skyline, the KopparMountain comes complete with everything from a running stream, to a rocky tundra and a summer meadow.
ICYMI: As well as the inspiration behind a huge party-mountain at Mudchute Farm, Kopparberg is also a picturesque town in Sweden, which makes this event the ultimate ode to the fruit-cider pioneers’ home town, and a great chance to try their new drink.
Climb up the 50 ft high KopparMountain (it’s just over the height of 11 London buses) and gaze over the views of the city, before sliding down to the heart of the party. On the other side, you’ll find bars serving up brand new Kopparberg Black on draught and other favourite flavours by the can.
The only thing to remind you that you’re in central London rather than the Swedish countryside is the music. Expect an impressive DJ line-up, featuring the likes of Greg Wilson,Madam X and Jackmaster in the evening and any number of great tunes throughout the day.
And when you get hungry from all the dancing, don’t fret, because Jackalope will be on hand selling delicious picks like Mac & Cheese, hot dogs, and veggie/vegan options, too.
The KopparMountain will be open Thursday 16th August to Saturday 18th August, 2pm-11pm daily. Daytime tickets come in two time slots, allowing you to make the most of the event no matter what time of day you’re free. Visit from 2pm – 4:30pm or 4:30pm-7pm. Or, head to the mountain for an evening of adventure from 7:45pm – 11pm.
Nearest stations are Mudchute, Crossharbour, Island Gardens and Canary Wharf. Tickets are priced from £8 and are redeemable for two drinks on arrival. Click here to get your tickets on the Fever app. Please drink responsibly.
