The Distillery, Portobello Road’s very own gin hotel, is expanding its gin-related events and launching a series of immersive dinners.
We all know exactly how James Bond likes his Martinis (he likes them with vodka, so this is all a bit confusing – but we’re bearing with…), and he is one of the most accomplished drinkers on the telly. He is known to have a drink every ten minutes and 53 seconds, on average. So who better to inspire an immersive night out on the town?
The Distillery’s ‘Tales of Glamour and Excess’ experience will take you through a five-course immersive dinner, mirroring the fabulous life of James Bond and his creator Ian Fleming. The evening will be full of the finer things in life, such as Martinis, Champagne and Bourbon, all served alongside some of Bond’s favourite dishes. The food and drink will be kept a surprise until the actual event, because secrets – but, if it’s anything like the food at The Distillery’s restaurant, Gin Tonica, you are in for an absolute treat.
Besides the James Bond experience, The Distillery is also giving you the opportunity to drink and dine like the Royals – inspired by Her Majesty The Queen’s love of gin. Other options include An Edible Adventure Through The Ages, where you’ll be served five courses from five different centuries, and an exploration of food and drink in film, featuring courses and cocktails inspired by everything from Casablanca to Silence of the Lambs.
Head to The Distillery’s website to find out more and book tickets for these immersive events.
