This Jamaican Bottomless Brunch Feast Really Packs A Punch
This island-inspired, bottomless brunch party is Jamaican us crazy!
We’re nearing the end of the dreariest month of the year, so we recommend heading out for a Jamaican feast that’s sure to lift the spirits.
As much as we love an opportunity to sink a few glasses of prosecco whilst munching on avocado toast, we can also see the merits of enjoying brunch a little differently. We Londoners are fiercely proud of our city’s multicultural heritage, so we’re relishing the opportunity to celebrate the sweet and spicy flavours of Jamaica at this top secret Reggae Brunch.
Expect carnival vibes from the moment you step through the door, because you’ll be kicking off this three-course feast with an hour of unlimited Reggae Rum Punch cocktails. You’re sure to be in the island mood by the time you sit down for your meal, which is being prepared by legendary Caribbean restaurant Cottons. Known for their tropical cocktails and their bold, flavoursome food, Cottons are putting on a spread fit for a king.
The brunch menu is filled with Caribbean classics, including lamb patties and saltfish fritters, jerk chicken pieces, and rice ‘n’ peas with dumplings. And veggies need not worry, because there are loads of meat-free options for you to sink your teeth into as well. Halloumi skewers, vegetable patties, sweet potato and pumpkin fritters, and grilled vegetables are all on the menu, followed by a decadent rum cake with vanilla cream.
After you’ve finished feasting, DJs will be on hand to turn up the temperature (word to Sean Paul) and you’ll have the chance to get down and dirty. They’ll be blasting out the hottest Reggae, Soca, Calypso and Hip Hop tracks around, so you’ll be out of your seat and on the dancefloor in no time. There’ll even be carnival themed entertainment and reggae-oke for those brave (or tipsy) enough to up and strut their stuff. Now that’s what we call a brunch party!
Reggae Brunch is running every Saturday from the 3rd February to 26th May and early bird tickets are currently priced at £29.99. They’re only going to go up in price from here, so we recommend booking now and saving your pennies. The price will be increasing to £32 per person on the next release, followed by final release tickets priced at £38. So go on, get up, stand up… and get your tickets here!
