Is This The Cutest Thing You’ve Seen On The London Tube All Year?

Let’s be honest, there isn’t a much more miserable place in the capital than the Northern Line. That is, until recently. Christmas elves have been spreading some festive joy around London this week, hanging mistletoe on the Northern and Victoria line in a bid to crack a few smiles on an infamously unfriendly mode of transport.

A website, mistletoeonthetube.co.uk, has now been set up and it’s encouraging Londoners to share photos of their festive commutes, using the hashtag #MistleTube. Named by one delighted Londoner as “the cutest thing since jiggly puff”, the mistletoe mission has been a resounding success so far. And nothing has made us happier than watching two awkward businessmen shuffle about underneath a branch.

Putting some “love on the line” is just about one of the sweetest things we’ve seen this year and it just proves that even Londoners are capable of feeling the love from time to time.
