Fancy scoffing on a wibbly wobbly miniature version of St Paul’s? Thanks to the foodie scientists, Bompass and Parr, you can. And what’s more, in June they are opening up a wondrous Jelly Parlour in Harrods’ Food Hall, where you can slurp up an edible and jellified version of the iconic London store in a delicious selection of bespoke flavours.
The Bompass and Parr team have been making impressive jelly displays for quite a while now and their secret to the long-standing success is a little extra gelatine (a technique used by the Victorians). Oooo-er.
