Think Cornwall and food, and you probably think Cornish pasties. And proper clotted cream ice cream. So – aha! – why not both?
Enter the ‘Cone-ish Pasty’, an innovative new dessert from TV chef James Strawbridge and Kelly’s of Cornwall ice cream people.
Flavour combos include the ‘cream tea’, with strawberry and scone pieces, an Eton Mess, an apple crumble and a red velvet version to try, too. We’re into it.
Curious to try one? Don’t go hollowing out yer Ginsters and shoving random dessert ingredients inside just yet!
For one day only, on Monday, May 14, you’ll be able to grab your very own professionally-made Cone-ish Pasty from Kelly’s of Cornwall’s Southbank pop-up. The exact location is TBC, but we’re told to look out for ‘beach huts, surfboards and even a cow.’
