This chipper chippy has just bagged itself the top spot on TripAdvisor, out of a massive 17,372 restaurants in London. First pla(i)ce. That means it’s beaten fine dining restaurants such as Gastronhome and The Ledbury to the title. Good on you, lads!
You won’t find anything fancy on the menu; just plenty of fish, burgers, fried chicken, pies and potatoes. Proper British grub. It must pretty special mind, as it’s been frequently praised by people from all ends of the world. Many have dubbed it the “best fish and chips they’ve ever had” and one bloke even gave it “6 stars”! WoOoOoah.
With a meal costing around £7.20, we’d sooner have a big old plate of cod and chips than some poncey seabass velouté for £45. Amirite?
