Want to win £10 Hamilton tickets in their free daily lottery? Here’s how to enter, as the show debuts in London’s West End.
Slightly later than planned, smash-hit musical Hamilton will debut in front of London audiences on Wednesday, Dec 6.
And that means, today, it’s time for the first ever daily Hamilton lottery!
How the Hamilton Ticket Lottery works
TWO days before each and every performance, a ticket lottery will open online here at 4pm.
It’s free to enter – just pop in your name and email, and you’re good to go.
Each round of the lottery is open until 2pm the following day, so there’s no reason to be in a huge panic about it or hit ‘refresh’ madly.
At 2pm the following day, an unspecified number of winners will be drawn, and everyone gets an email letting them know the results. (Winners get a pair of Hamilton tickets, of course.)
Didn’t strike it lucky? No worries! The next day’s lottery will begin just two hours later, giving you another opportunity to win. And so it goes on, six days a week, except Saturday afternoon – Sunday afternoon (tickets for the Monday shows are given away on Saturday. Do you see? Actually, even we’re a bit confused on the timeline…)
You can also download the Hamilton app on the Apple App Store or Google Play – which will let you enter the lottery each day with just a flick of the finger. All the better for getting in the daily habit – why not go ahead and put a repeating reminder in your phone?
All in all, it’s your best chance to blag some cheap-o tickets to this sell-out show, short of trapping an incognito Lin-Manuel Miranda in a phone box and asking nicely for some.
