Grease sleepover party

A slumber party pop-up experience like no other is coming to London this May, giving fans the chance to step into the world of Grease…

…or, at least, the movie’s famous sleepover scene in Frenchy’s room. Hosting a series of free private screenings for groups of friends in Soho, organisers NOW TV are promising an exact replica of Frenchy’s bedroom, ‘with patterned pink wallpaper, plush carpets and satin-fringed curtains, Rydell High flags and even a giant panda toy poised to paw Rizzo’s silky drawers!’ SOLD.

There’ll be all the props you need to reveal your inner Pink Lady (so to speak), plus ‘food and drink straight out of the fifties’, that apex decade of our culinary history. After what will doubtless be an intense session of dress-up-and-Insta-story, you can then recline on the bed to enjoy a screening of the iconic film, streamed on (you guessed it) NOW TV.

The good news is that the whole experience is free-free-free; the bad news is that entry is via ballot. May (Pink) Lady Luck smile on you and your squad.

For something a little more dystopian, try Secret Cinema’s incredible Blade Runner experience.
