We told you last week that the RMT were planning a 24-hour tube strike from 9:30pm Tuesday 6th December until the following evening. However, it has now been announced that the walk out, which was due to affect the Piccadilly and Hammersmith & City Lines has been called off.
Pleased tomorrow’s tube strike has been called off & commuters won’t face unnecessary disruption. Negotiation is always the best way forward

Not that it will necessarily mean the Piccadilly line will be running smoothly, mind. But all in all some positive news.
