NOW Gallery have long impressed us with their amazing art installations, and now they’re impressing us with a brand new immersive maze.
Camille Walala has set up shop at the NOW Gallery on Greenwich Peninsula for a brand new summer installation you can get lost in.
Now, you may have seen her quirky pieces dotted around Shoreditch and Old Street. If not, allow us to refresh your memory.
They’re on the sides of buildings.
And makes us wish the sides of our apartment looked like this.
And have even made it to the streets of London. Literally.
But now she’s created a colourful gallery space where she’s set up a puzzle for visitors to figure out themselves. The idea is to get you to scrutinise your space from lots of different angles and ultimately, make you aware of your own physicality and body. Sounds like exciting stuff and obviously, the surroundings aren’t too shabby either.
This is already a pretty bonkers (and downright brilliant) sounding exhibition but Walala has commissioned two unique ping-pong tables to take up home in Peninsula Garden. So if you feel like taking part in a little match or two, just grab a bat and ball from the NOW reception and get playin’.
WALALA X PLAY runs from July 14th-September 24th and is free for everyone. For more information, visit their website.
