This July, Vauxhall One are putting on four free pop-up outdoor cinema screenings every Tuesday! Located in the secluded, but central, Pleasure Garden, it’s a perfect spot to snuggle up on a blanket on a summer’s evening – they sell blankets on site, should you forget to bring one! If you’re feeling like a farrrncy VIP, then you can also rent a deckchair from Vauxhall Village.
On 12th July they’ll be screening the high school favourite ’10 Things I Hate About You’, followed by another classic ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ the week after. The fourth and final film of July will be chosen by you online here. It’s a toughie one – between My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Full Monty and Groundhog Day. Alongside the film, there will be street food stalls, including fish n’ chips, salt and pepper squid and sweet tatty fries from Hashtag Fish, burgers from Backstreet Diner and authentic Colombian street food from Maize Blaze. Make sure you arrive around 7pm to secure a good spot.
