Expect beers and street food aplenty at Five Points’ birthday bash.
Let’s be honest, your average birthday party is usually a boozy affair. But when it’s one of London’s best craft breweries getting another year older, you know the drinks will flow in rivers. To celebrate their fifth birthday, Hackney hopmeisters Five Points Brewery are putting together a little shindig on April 21st, and they’re inviting you to join. Yep, they’ve quite literally organised a piss-up in a brewery.
It’s a jolly good chance to get absolutely sozzled, not least because Five Points are inviting some pals along for the party. They’ve teamed up with five of their favourites breweries from around the UK, each of whom is bringing along a unique present: a special collaboration beer, brewed in partnership with Five Points. The breweries in question are Bristol buddies Lost & Grounded, Irish ingenues YellowBelly, Leeds-loving Northern Monk, Thornbridge of Derbyshire, and the pride of Somerset, Wild Beer Co. Each will serve up their collaboration, along with rare and limited edition beers from all six breweries.
Party food comes in the form of KERB favourites Oli Baba’s (of halloumi fries fame) and Capish?, who’ll bring along their Italian-American creations. There will also be live music from Five Points’ resident DJs and yawwn, should you fancy a boogie. Tickets will set you back £15, which includes a half-pint of all five birthday beers, plus a commemorative beer glass. With all that beer, it might well be the only thing you remember about this party…
