We already know how egg-tremely excited you got when we told you that a Creme Egg pop-up cafe will be coming to London this January and now we can give you the official low-down. You’ll be pleased to hear that the Creme Egg cafe isn’t just a one-time-wonder: it’s going to be sticking around (in a gooey kind of way) for a good 7 weeks and will open on Greek St on 22 January.
It may be called a cafe but the pop-up will stretch over not one, not two but THREE floors, serving an array of Creme Egg-themed delicacies for you to gorge on. For just £2 you’ll be able to get your paws on a Creme Egg toastie to take away. (Nope, we’re not yolking).
The first floor will have more of a restaurant feel, with four Creme Egg cuisines on the menu. We’re talking Creme Egg tray bakes, strawberries and creme (egg) and yep, you guessed it, that old classic egg and soldiers (we imagine with a creme-y twist). All dishes are priced at £4, which in our minds is definitely worth shelling out for… Tea, coffee and water will also be served but unfortunately no Creme Egg-nogs. We know right.

The café will open every Friday (5-9pm) Saturday and Sunday (2-6pm) from January 22 until March 6. Tables in the first floor ‘restaurant’ can be booked ahead via Eventbrite (from Tuesday January 19), while limited walk-ins will be available.
If we were you, we’d recommend booking ahead though to avoid egg-treme disappointment.
