
Dig out your ski jackets and dust off your snowboards, folks. Eurostar are back this winter for another season of whisking adventure-seekers between London and various French ski resorts on their handy, high-speed train.
The Eurostar Snow Service offers Londoners the ultimate wintery getaway, transporting passengers from the hustle and bustle of London St Pancras International to the serene, snow-covered likes of Chambery, Albertville, Moutiers, Aime La Plagne, Landry, and Bourg St Maurice via Lille every Saturday morning of the ski season (now until March 1, 2025). Return trips will leave on Sunday mornings, arriving back in the capital in the afternoon.
Giving skiers a more sustainable way of travelling to the snow-capped peaks of the French Alps; Eurostar have expanded its offering this year. There are 11 weekend departures throughout the season, compared to last year’s eight. Fares start at £139 each way and are available to book now, for those dreaming of a white Christmas.
