Yes, that is Ryan frickin’ Reynolds, voicing over a furry CGI Pikachu.
Yes, he is… fighting crime?
And yes, ‘My problem is that I push people away and then hate them for leaving?’ is an actual line of dialogue spoken by Pikachu, who was previously limited to such bon mots as ‘Pika pika!’

It’s wrong, possibly so wrong it’s right, and who knows, I thought that ‘The LEGO Movie’ was gonna be a stupid cash-in and that was an absolute BLAST. (No word on if this will have an electro-banger as pure as Everything Is Awesome.) Justice Smith co-stars. Twitter has some thoughts!
