Der inzwischen berühmte Tesco in Walthamstow (in der Forest Road) ließ eine blaue Plakette an seinem Äußeren anbringen, auf der zu lesen ist : „Ein im September 2022 hier gekaufter Salat hielt länger als Premierministerin Liz Truss (49 Tage)“.
Das Schild wurde zum Hit bei den Einheimischen, und obwohl es keineswegs offiziell war, erregte es so viel Aufmerksamkeit, dass es sich im Internet viral verbreitete. Die Plakette wurde jedoch inzwischen entfernt, so dass wir sie zwar nicht mehr sehen können, aber diese Bilder haben wir, um diesen amüsanten Ableger dieser berüchtigten Geschichte zu verewigen.
