Cocktails in the City is returning to London this weekend, and you can decide who will be crowned ‘Best Bar’.
The UK’s biggest cocktail party is back and it’s giving you the opportunity to try out those swanky London bars you’ve been meaning to visit, but with the handy convenience of them all being in one place. Showcasing 25 of London’s finest drinking establishments, all within the beautiful confines of Fitzrovia’s Bedford Square Gardens, Cocktails in the City is the ultimate bar hopper’s paradise – a place to learn from the world’s best bartenders and taste what could be the world’s best cocktails.
Each of the participating bars have partnered with a premium brand to create a signature serve for the weekend, and they’re all set to battle it out for the winning title of ‘Best Bar’. With appearances from the likes of Mr Fogg’s, Nightjar, The Cocktail Trading Co., Cahoots and The Alchemist, you can expect nothing short of excellence from every contestant.
Bourne & Hollingsworth will be bringing their stunning interiors to the park, whilst Laki Kane, London’s newest rum bar, will be creating a mini tropical paradise. Every bar will have their own unique installation! There’ll be all sorts of things happening over the two-day festival, from Champagne ice cream parlours to pop-up greenhouses, and it’s all within a few steps of each other. Head to The Tasting Rooms for an immersive, sensory journey, or become a master mixologist and shake up the perfect cocktail with guidance from some of the best bartenders in the biz.
And the festivities don’t stop at the cocktails! Any bountiful boozing really ought to be accompanied by fantastic food – and Cocktails in the City certainly ticks that box. Look out for Lost Boys Pizza’s distinctive black dough, hunt down hotdogs from Rock a Dolla, or guzzle down gyoza from Rainbo.
