This cosy Notting Hill restaurant has been decked out with fur and festive lights.
What’s up, Chucs?
Chucs, London’s loveliest Italian restaurant chain, has four venues across the city – but it’s the Westbourne Grove branch that takes the festive crown this Christmas.
Inside the snowy, fairy-light infested Grotto, you can get cosy on the fur throw-covered sofas and sip on festive hot chocolates. Santa will even pop by at the weekends!
Elsewhere in the restaurant, it’s all just as cosy. Even the outdoor terrace is kitted out with fluffy blankets and a toasty fire.
As for the food, there’ll be a special festive menu available at all of their restaurants, from now until January 7. From Burrata with Wild Mushrooms and Black Truffle to start, to Veal Osso Buco and Gnocchi with Pumpkin, Chestnut and Truffle. The dessert is the dreamiest part though, with a choice of Gold Panna Cotta with Winter Berries, Pistachio Tiramisu, and Chocolate Fondant with Hazelnut Ice Cream.
The festivities don’t stop once the food’s been scoffed, either. You should stick around for the after dinner cocktail, the Chucs Christmas Cracker – a hot rum punch with apple, cinnamon and orange.
