We’ve had a great selection of food festivals this summer and it’s set to get even cosier with a festival dedicated entirely to chilli con carne.
It’s the dish you look forward to when you go back to your mum’s and that perfect filling for a heartwarming jacket potato, but who would’ve guessed there could be a whole festival for the stuff.
Now’s the time to polish off your fair share of spicy–and equally as satisfying–bowls of chilli con carne at Brixton Beach‘s Chilli Con Carne Festival on September 14th.
Culminated on Brixton Beach rooftop will be tasty offerings from Japanese fusion restaurant Nanban, as well as Stakehaus and Mac To The Future. There will be delicious chilli variations available throughout the day for an even more delicious price of £5 (and even a hot sauce-making class).
Chilli Con Carnival! is taking place on Thursday 14th September from 6pm-11pm and you can find it at Brixton Beach, near Brixton station, SW9 8JH. Get your tickets here.
