Ever since the front of the Palace Theatre in London has been adorned with it’s entrance for the opening of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, we’ve been itching with excitement to see what the show will be like. Today, images of the cast (taken by Charlie Gray) have been released, so Potterheads can all get a glimpse at what The Boy Who Lived looks like in the flesh. [See more in our guide to Harry Potter-themed activities in London.]
From left to right, we have the middle-aged Harry himself (played by Jamie Parker), then his son Albus Potter (played by Sm Clemmett) and, finally, Ginny (played by Poppy Miller).
And here we have Ron Weasley (Paul Thornley), Hermione Granger (Noma Dumezweni) and Rose Granger-Weasley (Cherrelle Skeet). And hell yeah Hermione kept her surname! Harry Potter and the Cursed Child jumps 19 years ahead of when the books finished. Previews for the show, which is split into two parts, begin on the 7th June. Mud-bloody amazing!
