The holiday season in King’s Cross is always magical – whether you’re gift shopping, dining with friends, enjoying festive activities or simply soaking up the atmosphere. This year, everyone’s favourite canalside destination is celebrating Christmas with festive markets, the winter tradition that is Club Curling, and much more.
When the decorations are put up and the lights are switched on, there’s nowhere quite like King’s Cross – and this year they’re upping the ante. Along with the return of the 50ft Christmas tree and Lewis Cubitt Square’s ‘Temenos’ installation, there’ll also be a brand new 60ft tree unveiled in Granary Square.
Club Curling

With a fabulous new makeover, inspired by vintage Italian ski culture, one of King’s Cross’ most iconic seasonal fixtures, Club Curling, has officially reopened for the winter. This year, players are invited to take time away from screens and reconnect with people around them at Senses Unwrapped, an immersive experience created in collaboration with Professor Barry Smith, and a world leading expert on sensory perception.
Located in the alpine-inspired lounge, each installation challenges perception with intriguing illusions, tastings, and more. And once your senses have been awakened, you can treat your taste buds to a delicious festive cocktail, Morty’s hot chocolate, mulled wine, or coffee at the bar.
