Candlelight: The Best of Zelda at St Mary’s Church
The Legend of Zelda was first released in 1986 and marked the beginning of a new era in the world of video games. Miyamoto Shigeru had already designed the iconic games Donkey Kong and the Mario Brothers Series, but Zelda proved to be an entirely new gaming experience. Players were provided with more freedom and even had the ability, for the first time, to save and later resume playing the game. What better way to celebrate the wonder and excitement of Zelda than with a spectacular Candlelight concert.
Unleash your inner Link, relive the journey to Death Mountain and defeat Ganon, and absorb the glory of restoring peace to the kingdom of Hyrule guided by piano versions of the main theme from Link’s Awakening, medleys from several of the games, the title theme of The Legend of Zelda, and more. After about an hour of breathtaking music, you’ll be reminded of the all of the fantasy and enchanting detail inside the world of Zelda.
Prepare for something otherworldly at St Mary’s Church as you musically navigate Link’s adventure in Hyrule. What’s more, this magical Candlelight concert takes place on June 23 and July 14 allowing you to pick a concert that suits your schedule best.
Whether you prefer going on your own, with a date, friend or loved one, you’re sure to be enchanted by the bright sea of candles.
Note: For the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight will be provided through flameless candles.
