Sooooo, it appears that nothing can get past you lot…in particular, eagle-eyed Londoner Amy Gray. The observant passenger was at Archway station when she spotted a spelling blunder on a Northern Line Tube sign and posted a picture to Twitter with the caption, “That’s some interesting spelling at Archway”.
Can you find it? We couldn’t…

Still can’t? Don’t be so hard on yourself…Ms Gray is a former English teacher and current school governor – (we keep telling ourselves that that makes it ok…) Despite not using the station regularly, she noticed that the second ‘c’ was missing from ‘Crescent‘. And it’s not the first time a spelling error has been spotted on London transport. Commuters were left bemused last summer after Transport for London installed a new sign that read ‘Waltamstow’ rather than Walthamstow at the main entrance of the station. Really?
Transport for London now say they are aware of the sign and are looking into the situation.
