The Queen is looking for a Pastry Chef to work at Buckingham Palace.

The Queen is looking for a pastry chef to be based at Buckingham Palace; to work alongside the Head Chef and assist with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. The job comes with many perks, including an excellent pension scheme, access to a range of recreational facilities, and the option of live-in accommodation with all meals provided.

The Royal Household asks that applicants have experience at a senior level in a five-star or fine dining environment, as well as exquisite knowledge of the industry, and food in general.

*Googles ‘How to become a pastry expert in 2 weeks’*

The role is full time, five days a week, and may require travel to other Royal residencies to help prepare meals for various events. Applications close on 26 June and you can apply on the Royal Household website.

Georgie is Deputy Editor at Secret London. She loves a trendy café and is all too familiar with the extortionate price of a coffee in the capital. She enjoys the finer things in life (like red wine on a school night and eating Ben and Jerry's straight from the tub) and hasn't quite grasped the concept of adulthood yet.
