Brixton’s favourite rooftop is transforming into the South Pole for the winter, complete with a debaucherous saloon bar.

Flipping the venue’s summer pop-up on its head, Brixton Rooftop will be transformed from a sunny beach resort to a magical winter wonderland this November. Be led through swinging saloon doors and into the rowdy dive bar, and get ready for plenty of festive cocktails and street food.

Despite the wintery theme, the rooftop will in fact be fully heated and covered, so it’ll be a lovely, cosy retreat from the chilly outdoors. Expect elves and candy girls, and plenty of raucous, festive entertainment; all just a three minute walk away from Brixton tube station.

The food will be just as warming and festive as everything else at the venue. Vudu Food will be cooking up turkey and cranberry burgers, whilst Mac to the Future will be there dishing out their special Christmas mac & cheese served inside a whole Camembert (seriously, we Camembert the excitement). There will also be a weekly food theme, so all traders will create a new special each week — as good an excuse as any to visit more than once.

Besides cracking cocktails and delicious food, there’ll also be an array of immersive supper clubs and masterclasses taking place (think cheese stretching and cocktail shaking). We can also expect a residency from the immersive cocktail masters, ABQ, who will be up on the roof offering molecular cocktail experiences, complete with dry ice and emulsifications.

South Pole Saloon launches on 23rd November, and will be open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until January 1st 2018. You’ll find it at Brixton Rooftop on Pope’s Road, SW9 8JH.
