Step aside, Cadbury’s. See you later, Lindt. Don’t even call, Kinder. There is a new Easter Egg to hunt down in London, and it’s making us chee-t on choc.
Creators of the cheese Advent Calendar arriving at the end of this year, So Wrong It’s Nom, have called their latest venture The Cheester Egg. It’s made from the famous Napier, awarded London’s Favourite Cheese in 2015’s Urban Food Awards by Boris Johnston, Mayor of London at the time. It is hard and creamy, just how Boris likes it. With a deliciously sharp flavour running through.
The Cheester Eggs cost £14.95 for approx. 260g of a large, solid, hand made egg. It is available to purchase online or to collect from London’s Broadway Market, Alexandra Palace Market or Myddelton Road Market. As well as the egg, there are a limited number of ‘Nest Hampers’ available for £29.95 including Peter’s Yard Sourdough Crispbread and locally produced quince membrillo.
