Japan Centre are set to launch a brand new flagship store this September, and it’s set to be a dream for any Japanese food lover.
This new food hall will combine the traditional elements of a ‘depachika’ (the Japanese word for a basement food hall, between you and I) and will also include unique specialist rooms, open kitchens and a central dine-in courtyard. (See our guide to London’s best Japanse restaurants.)
There will also be a Sake Room where you can sip on Sake samples and be assisted by Sake experts. If you’re looking to line your stomach beforehand, then there will be lots of freshly prepared favourites to stuff your face with, such as ramen, hand pulled udon noodles, gyoza, tempura and some soul-warming Japanese curries.
The new flagship shop will be open from September 7th and you can find it at 35b Panton Street, near Leicester Square station, SW1Y 4EA.
