If bankers didn’t already have a bad enough rep as it is, the Chartered Banker association haven’t helped matters with their recent ad for the Young Banker of the Year Award. The ad, which has been displayed across London’s tubes, shows a giant suited hipster chap, squatting over the city in a position that suggests he’s taking one hell of a contemplative shit on the capital. Of course, the Twitter backlash was hysterical…

We can’t help but think that whoever designed this graphic was certainly pulling the CB’s leg. The hashtag #CBrRiseAboveTheRest, which was obviously created to promote the award in a positive way, has completely backfired. There are now two prominent words associated with the hashtag; banker and shit. Words that were probably associated in the first place, but in not quite such a literal way…
