It’s Back!!! Fabric Is Reopening This Weekend

share on:

After winning a big battle to stay open, fabric are finally reopening their doors to the public this Friday (just as long as you’re over 19). The club was shut for 4 months and faced permanent closure, after their licence was revoked following two drug-related deaths. Eventually, fabric managed to reach an agreement with the Islington Council, and were allowed to reopen under strict new licensing conditions, including an over-19s policy and ID scanners upon entry.

fabric blame the “hundreds of thousands of petition signers, letter writers, donors, T Shirt bearers, artists, party promoters” for this “cherished moment”. People from all over the world fought to #SaveFabric and, well… fabric was saved.

The weekend’s lineup hasn’t been fully disclosed yet, but they’re sticking to their classic club nights, including Friday’s FABRICLIVE (6th Jan) and Sunday’s WetYourSelf! (8th Jan). Unfortunately (and unsurprisingly) they’ve run out of advance tickets, but you can still buy tickets on the door.
