“The ultimate date-night experience?” we hear you ask?
A private terrace in a luxury boutique hotel filled with an incredible art installation and champagne is a near-perfect evening by anyone’s standards. And this October, Perrier-Jouët’s “Art Of The Wild” event series will take place at such a location.
The Mandrake in Fitzrovia, a venue inspired by the medicinal properties of The Mandrake plant that is totally unique, artistic, and sensual, will play host to two weeks of champagne-paired events. It’ll all take place on The Mandrake’s lush, private, ‘Jurema’ terrace. Wander around the hotel, where all senses are stimulated by a luxury, boutique, eclectic surrounding brimming with artful interiors, bespoke scent and vibrant design. Think tasting sessions, paired brunches, dinners and florist design classes. There’s something for everyone.
The fortnight-long event series, which runs from 18th October to 3rd November, will feature an escape from reality thanks to a stunning, wild autumnal garden landscape, brought to life with tropical flowers, plants, palm trees and glass spheres that will create an immersive experience. And adding to the experience will be a fine selection of Perrier-Jouët champagnes and some delicious dining courtesy of The Mandrake’s chef.
If the plant-themed setting wasn’t impressive enough, keep in mind that this terrace is usually closed to the public. This is the only chance to recline back, admire the view and enjoy some delectable champagne before it’s closed off again. It’s a truly one-of-a-kind event.
Whether you’re something of a champagne aficionado or a novice when it comes to flavours and depths – worry not. Led by a Perrier-Jouët Champagne Ambassador, this masterclass will take you on a journey around the unique characteristics and flavour profiles of the Maison’s cuvées. Guests will enjoy an informative and insightful introduction to the history and heritage of Perrier-Jouët while trying some of the brand’s top selections. Throughout the evening, there will be tasting glasses of Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs NV, Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé NV and prestige cuvées Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 2011 and Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé 2010.
