Another Major London Station Joins The Night Tube This Weekend

The Night Tube that we all know and love is finally adding one of London’s busiest underground stations to the line: Charing Cross.

The Night Tube is bloody brilliant because it gets all of us back home without a hitch on our Friday and Saturday nights – and of course, runs on off-peak prices.

But many of us may get a little confused when the late night Northern line trains whizz through Charing Cross. Well all of you who like to spend the end of your week strolling round The Strand, taking in Trafalgar Square or simply being a theatre or restaurant buff – then this will come as fantastic news to you.

It’s a win-win situation really, as experts predict that this will provide another economic boost to our capital. Obviously, the stations staying open for longer just means the bars, restaurants and nightlife around it will thrive. Yay for everyone.

On Friday 30th June, Charing Cross station will be open for the entire night and passengers will no longer have to trek to nearby Embankment station instead.

That makes a total of five lines that are currently running as part of the Night Tube – Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria.
