As Christmassy cheer takes over our city, one of the greatest joys is seeing how London changes for the holidays. Every Christmas, one place that gets fully into the celebratory festive mood is Mayfair’s Annabel’s – which hosts a delightful Christmas façade every year.
And now that London’s Christmas lights are twinkling through the nights, and the markets have started opening, Annabel’s has unveiled this year’s display. And they’ve outdone themselves yet again. This year’s Christmas façade features a glimmering magical bird inside a snow globe. The stunning larger-than-life (much larger-than-life) display has taken over Annabel’s’ entranceway – and the floors above it to boot.
The whimsical installation was designed by Tatiana Kharchylava, Creative Director of The Birley Clubs. Kharchylava wanted the piece to transport viewers “to a place of innocence and delight”. Visitors to the member’s club will now enter the building through the base of the snow globe, while the bird arches overhead.

Charitable partnership
As always, the new festive decor has been designed as part of a charity initiative. This Christmassy façade was created to support The Caring Family Foundation’s “Food From The Heart” charity initiative. The initiative is committed to “addressing child hunger and food insecurity” in Brazil and the UK.
The initiative sees The Caring Family Foundation partnering with The Felix Project. Together their aim is “distributing 300,000 meals across London by the end of this year and reaching an additional 700,000 meals by the end of 2025”. By then, The Caring Family Foundation will have provided over 3.5 million meals since 2020. A truly heartwarming thought, this Christmas season.
📍 You’ll find Annabel’s at Annabel’s, 46 Berkeley Square, London W1J 5AT. The nearest station is Green Park.
