These Boozy Afrobeat Brunches Are Heading To London For The Summer

What do you get if you mix shoki dancing with bottomless cocktails and jollof rice?

Afrobeats & Brunch.

Like no party you’ve ever seen before, Afrobeats & Brunch is about as lively as they come. Taking place at a secret London location, guests will get an hour of bottomless cocktails, followed by a three-course African-inspired meal, plus an epic lineup of Afrobeat DJs.

The menu will feature chickpea “cigars”, peri-peri chicken wings* with jollof rice, coleslaw and plantain, followed by a chocolate brownie with vanilla cream. But, of course, you’ll immediately have the opportunity to wash it all down and dance it all off. With DJs mixing Afrobeat, Afro-house, soul, hip-hop and commercial hits, as well as dancers, prizes and even raffle contests, you won’t be leaving without a few stories to tell.

The next event is happening on Saturday August 26th, kicking off at 1pm, with more events taking place throughout September. Tickets cost £38 and include an hour of bottomless cocktails, a three-course brunch and all the dancing you can handle. (Note: the venue will be revealed on the week of the event.)

*there’ll be grilled halloumi for the veggies and a vegan option available on request (please speak to the venue to arrange this prior to the event).
