BABYMETAL werden im Rahmen ihrer Europatournee, die auch in der Hauptstadt Halt macht, ihr bisher größtes Konzert in London spielen und die O2 Arena zum Bersten füllen.
Die japanische Kawaii-Metal-Band wird gleich zu Beginn des Sommers in London auftreten, und zwar am 30. Mai 2025. Die US-Sängerin Poppy und der irische Sänger Bambie Thug werden bei jedem europäischen Termin als Vorgruppe auftreten. Die Show folgt auf ihren erfolgreichen Auftritt auf der Hauptbühne des Download Festivals im letzten Sommer.

London ist das einzige britische Datum auf der BABYMETAL-Europatour, und das einzige andere Mal, dass sie ihre komplette Arenashow nach Europa bringen konnten, war bei ihrer ausverkauften Show in der Wembley Arena im Jahr 2016. Außerdem traten sie 2016 in der O2-Arena als Support für drei Shows der Red Hot Chilli Peppers auf.
Diesmal kehren sie zurück, um in derselben Arena als Headliner aufzutreten, und es wird ihre größte Show in London sein. Die Tickets gehen hier am Freitag (25. Oktober) um 10 Uhr in den allgemeinen Verkauf, der Vorverkauf für Künstler findet heute Morgen statt, und der Ticketmaster-Vorverkauf beginnt morgen.
Der Fox God äußerte sich in einem Statement über die Band: „Im Jahr 2025 wird BABYMETAL in eine neue Ära eintreten. Die METALVERSE wird sich erweitern und wir werden in eine Welt reisen, die wir noch nie erlebt haben, mit neuen Songs.“
BABYMETAL wird am 30. Mai in der Londoner O2 Arena spielen. Die Tickets gehen am Freitag um 10 Uhr in den allgemeinen Verkauf. London ist der letzte Termin ihrer Europatournee, die auch Termine in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin und anderen Städten vorsieht.
