If your bank account is left a little deflated after the expense of Christmas, the last thing you’re probably thinking about is forking out a loadaa GBP to spend on the last evening of 2016. It’s easy to assume that spending New Year’s Eve in London is a one-way ticket to bankruptcy, but we all need to restore a little more faith in our city. It has a lot to offer on the most anticipated day of the year. And they aren’t all ‘spenny.
1. Have a hoppy New Year at Pillars Brewery
Beer lovers, all your dreams might just come true in 2016 (who would have thought it?!). Pillars Brewery – Walthamstow’s hottest craft brewery to pop up this year – are holding one hell of a piss-up. You got it; an actual piss-up in an actual brewery. The event is completely free to enter. Alongside the delicious craft lager – as well as wine and spirits – there will be tasty Caribbean street food, bar snacks, a DJ bringing you all sorts of funk, soul, hip hop, RnB and disco classics, as well as lots of dancing. The party kicks off at 2pm, so you better have a good stamina if you want a hoppy New Year! You can find out more about the event here.
