There’s something about standing atop a rooftop bar in London (Pimm’s in hand, of course) that just epitomises summer for us. Maybe it’s the Jack Dawson-esque ‘I’M ON TOP OF THE WORLD’ feeling or maybe it’s the slightly snooty ‘I am literally higher than you right now’ smugness – whatever it is there’s no denying us Londoners love a good rooftop. Here are some of the most roof-raising rooftop bars in the city…

1. Dalston Roof Park

6. The Bussey Rooftop Bar

Part of the Rooftop Film Club offering you a unique experience of watching a classic film on top a London rooftop, although it must be said you’ll find it hard to concentrate on the movie with the knock-out 360 views of the capital. If you don’t have a soul and movies aren’t your thing then ditch the popcorn and grab a cocktail instead, perhaps some Italian food from their food vendor Forza Win.

The vibrant 70s vibes of this Shoreditch bar/club with have you gettin your groove on in no time with a variety of different DJs and themed nights (including a night dedicated to Queen Younce herself this Thursday)!! Staying hip as ever with drinks such as ‘Don’t Go To Dalston’ and ‘Ba-Na-Na What’s My Name’ this fun and funky venue would be cool even without its Dr Strange inspired rooftop with decor so bright the sun never stops shining. (Metaphorically speaking GOSH).

8. Lyric
